Description

GrowControl^TM SXC Climate Sensor & Logger is a precision digital indoor sensor featuring temperature, humidity, and ambient light sensors standard. Optional CO2 ppm sensor allows accurate readings up to 10,000 ppm with reliable NDIR sensor technology. Optional PLIR™ downward-looking plant-leaf infrared sensor privdes real-time leaf temperatures for accurate VPD measurements. Fan aspirated for continuous accuracy with removable air filter. Connect to Agrowtek's GrowControl^TM Control systems for advanced environmental control solutions.

Internal memory logs 21,600 data points for months or years of storage. USB AgrowLink connects the GrowNET port to a PC for datalog download to .csv, graphing, calibration, configuration, updates, and more using free PC software.

CO2 ppm Sensor

Upgrade the SXC sensor to include a CO2 ppm sensor module in order to monitor and control CO2! Measure up to 10,000ppm with accurate and reliable NDIR sensor technology.

CO2 sensor module installs inside of the SXC environment sensor and can be upgraded in the field. Sensor is factory installed if ordered as an option.

PLIR™

Plant Leaf Infrared Sensor

New PLIR™ sensor reads plant leaf surface temperatures with a precision downward-looking infrared sensor. The PLIR™ sensor allows accurate real-time calculations of VPD (vapor pressure deficit) eliminating the need to take manual temperature readings with a hand-held pyrometer and entering temperature offsets. Get accurate VPD measurements with the benefit of additional insight into plant health and leaf temperatures.

VPD

Vapor Pressure Deficit

VPD is essentially a measure of the environment's ability to pull moisture from a plant. Lower VPD values are desirable for providing a low-stress environment for optimal plant growth and proper nutrient uptake. VPD is calculated with the SXC's ambient temperature & humidity readings, as well as the plant's leaf temperature. The new PLIR™ sensor option allows accurate VPD measurements in real-time. Without the PLIR™ sensor option, leaf temperatures can be manually entered with a temperature offset value.
